If you are interested in commissioning a portrait then simply e-mail or post a photograph of your pet.

You can send a variety of your favourite pictures (all originals will be returned) for the artist to work from. Well-lit, bright photographs are best. It is important to have one clear photograph of your pet's face.

Do send details of your pet's personality as this will help the artist to capture a good likeness.

Backgrounds are kept plain but you can select a preferred colour, or discuss it with the artist.

On receipt of your photograph a simple sketch will be e-mailed to give you an idea of colours and composition. Once details have been agreed a non-refundable deposit of 25% will be payable and portrait painting will commence.

A digital photo of the completed portrait will be e-mailed to you to ensure that you are happy with the painting. Once you are satisfied the balance will become payable. On receipt of payment the painting will be posted to you.

Portraits are painted in acrylic on canvas and are unframed.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion of a portrait but if the painting is needed for a particular date the artist will endeavour to complete it more quickly.
